Coin Pocket - Monster Fish (Knit)
Are you looking for a quick gift that brings smiles to a child’s face?
It works up quickly and since it is a Monster Fish, it is not picky in how it turns out. :)
And on top of it, isn’t it a great way to introduce your child to the value of money, perhaps a small allowance or the concept of saving, spending and sharing (donation)?
Materials: You will need ~75 yds of a feltable wool yarn for the body and ~25 yds for the fins. 7” or longer, large toothed zipper. Key chain clasp (optional).
Skills required: Working in the round on dpns, knitting on cast-on, I-cord, felting, sewing in zipper.
The pattern also comes with a photo tutorial on how to sew in the zipper and a short description on hand felting.
This pattern is also available via Craftsy here and my Etsy store here.
