There is nothing quite like getting together with friends for coffee and a catch up. The easy atmosphere of a coffee shop, and knitting a relaxing project, are what inspired this pattern. Coffee Talk socks are the perfect take along project. I like to think of them as texture with a twist. They are a simple, easily memorized texture pattern on the front, and “don’t even have to think about it” stockinette on the back. They end with a gorgeous faded two colour toe. Before you know it, you will be ordering a second latte and have knit a gorgeous pair of socks! Happy knitting, friends. ?

Sample is size Medium

MC - PATINA (58 g)
CC - SPICED PECANS (20 g)

  • This is a unisex pattern, perfect for anyone! Changing your yarn choices can give this texture such different personality. Knit a few pairs and mix your yarns up. I especially love it in speckled yarns!

  • This simple texture is very easily memorized. Perfect for taking your knitting on the go.

  • If you are knitting size LARGE you will need about 25 gm of CC, If you would like to use a 20 gm mini skein, I would use CC for heel and toe, and knit the cuff in MC. That should give you enough yardage. :)

  • This pattern is written for Magic Loop style knitting.

  • All slipped stitches in this pattern are slipped with the yarn at the BACK (WS)

  • Video link to Magic Loop and Kitchener Stitch grafting tutorials are included.

  • This pattern has been professionally tech edited, and test knit.
