About the Coffee bean-beanie.
First of all, who doesn’t like a daily dose of coffee, right? I actually enjoy two cups myself a day. So this cute hat is knitted in the round with a two color stranded knitting method, creating the cool coffee bean pattern.
Measurements of finished beanies for sizes S/M and L/XL
Ribbing circumference: S/M- 20.5” (52 cm) L/XL- 23.25” (59 cm)
Height: S/M- 8.5” (21.5 cm) L/XL- 10.5” (26.5 cm)
The pattern is fully written, offers a chart and a how video link on floating some of the longer groups of stitches in the back/inside.
Yarn
Mercerized cotton yarn in a sport weight. 125 yards a skein.
Two colors as shown here:
C1- Champagne 1/2 skeins, C2- Chocolat 1 skein

Notions
Two US size 3 (3.25 mm) needles.
1- circular needle, 16” (41 cm) in length.
1- double pointed set to decrease the crown.
Stitch markers, 1 to mark the beginning of each round and 5 for the coffee bean pattern.
Tapestry needle for finishing.
Techniques applied
Knitting in the round, ribbing, knitting through back loop, color changes, stranded knitting, decreasing, cinching remains stitches with tapestry needle, weaving in ends and blocking.
