Cody is a delectable Christmas Pudding with a cute kawaii face.

The pattern is an easy level and uses US terms. A knowledge of how to crochet is essential as it does not teach you how to crochet, it simply provides instructions to make the toy.

Your tension, yarn thickness and hook size used will affect the size of your finished item. My Cody is approx. 11cm high x 14cm wide.

You will receive one PDF file which requires software like Adobe Reader to open (this is free to download).

You will need:

• 3.50mm hook/E (US)
• 10ply yarn (Worsted / Aran) > 50g BROWN and less than 50g in the remaining colours
• BLACK and WHITE embroidery thread
• A pair of 10mm safety eyes
• Scissors
• Tapestry needle
• Polyester toy stuffing
• Stitch marker (optional)

Notes:

• Amigurumi is usually worked in the round and a yarn with no stretch is best.
• Generally, the hook you use for amigurumi will be a smaller than for other crochet as you want the stitches tight.
• I’ve used Hobbii Friends Cotton 8/8 in the following yarns: o BROWN = colour 15 Walnut o BLUE = colour 88 o WHITE = colour 01 White o RED = colour 40 Tomato o GREEN = colour 105 Emerald
