Cobblestone Beret

Explore the back streets of an old town in this warm woolly beret. It is knit from the center out and top down to explore wavy lace with lots of increases and some carefully placed decreases. A hefty aran tweed will offset the delicate nature of the lace for a substantial topper.
Finished dimensions:
to fit average adult brim circumference 19 inches, height 9.5 inches
Materials:
-140 yards aran/heavy worsted weight yarn
-size 7, 16” circular and double-pointed needles
-stitch marker
Gauge:
4.5 stitches to 1 inch in 1x1 twisted rib, slightly stretched
18 stitches to 3 inches in cobblestone pattern, measured straight horizontally
