Yarn is held double for the body, single for the collar and hat. The entire coat and hat are worked in 1x1 rib.

There is an error in the stitch counts of this pattern. One suggested fix is to proceed as though the gauge is 6 stitches per inch rather than the 12 called for in the pattern, and cast on as follows:

Body: c/o 38
Yoke and Sleeves: c/o 8
Collar: c/o 46
Hat: c/o 34

Sized for a Barbie-type doll with the 1960s figure: 5.5”/3.125”/5”. The fit may vary on modern dolls.
