An asymmetric shawl knitted sideways in one piece with
written instructions,
One Size - 150cm/59ins across the top of the shawl and 58cm/23ins deep at the widest part of the shawl after blocking.
Yarn used
Natural Star 4ply White Gum Wool - 100% merino - 472m/516yds per 100g
MC - 1 x 472m/516yds - 100g skein
CC - 1 x 100m/110yds - 25g skein
Materials required
1 x 4mm 80cm circular needle
Wool needle for sewing in ends
1 stitchmarker
Blocking pins
Tension (Gauge)
24 sts and 48 rows to 10cm/4ins over garter stitch unblocked on 4mm needles. Gauge is not crucial.
Abbreviations
Cc - contrast colour, k - knit, k2tog - knit the next 2 stitches together, kfb - knit into the front and back of the next stitch, making 2 stitches, mc - main colour, pm - place marker, rep - repeat, rs - right side, sm - slip marker over to the other needle, st(s) - stitch(es), ws - wrong side, yo - yarn over.
