The Pacific coast is home to many amazing creatures, and this kit lets you take four of them home! The Orca whale is an apex predator, which feeds mostly on salmon in the waters of the Pacific Northwest, and it has been immortalized in native art for centuries, including Cowichan sweater designs. The iconic Ochre Stars and Red Rock Crabs share their tide pools with the Giant Green Anemone.

The Orca is a large stuffed animal, while the starfish, sea anemone, and crab are all hand puppets. These knitted creatures are amazingly detailed and realistic, and use many advanced knitting techniques including intarsia, Fair Isle, and short rows. Knit these stuffed toys for children and adults alike, who are enchanted by coastal creatures.

You will need US 3 (3.75 mm) 24” or longer circulars or DPNs, stitch markers, yarn needle, spare DPNs, craft stuffing, scrap yarn, and crochet hook for provisional cast on.
