Clover Insertion and Edging Combination
“The original was made with number 15 needles and size 20 crochet cotton, which made an edging about 1 3/4 inches wide and an insertion approximately 1 inch wide. For use on pillow slips, number 18 needles and size 50 crochet cotton are suggested.”
Note: The insertion is knitted and then stitches are picked up along one side to make the points of the edging.
