In addition to the thread, you will need a 3 3/4 inch slotted clothespin. A separate wooden stand can be purchased if you’d like your angel to be able to stand independently.

The dress pattern begins with a long tail and a length of 14 chains, that when connected must fit over the head of the clothespin. The bodice and skirt are worked in-the-round together with careful use of every stitch. The long tail is then used to make a decorative edge to the neck.

The wings are added to the dress at the sleeve opening, and the halo is worked separately. There is a cute and clever edging of clusters that make this angel very special.

There is no need to starch this angel, as the tight stitches make the dress stand out. She is very pretty and ready for any celebration!
