Clock Socks with an ‘extra strength back of heel section’ for additional softness. Cables, knots and twists and turns to give depth and thickness to a garment. They look sensational and add warmth and give that quintessentially ye olde-worlde sense of tradition and comfort.

CLOCK
An embroidered or woven decoration on the side of a stocking or sock.

From 16th Century Middle Dutch word clocke, and also from Medieval Latin word clocca bell; an ornamental design on the ankle or side of a sock is called a clock.
