Clifftop Coatigan
This hip-length coatigan will
keep you warm and cosy on a
blustery coastal walk.
MATERIALS
● Rowan Kid Classic,
70% wool/22% mohair/
8% polyamide,
50g/40m/44yds
Yarn A: Royal 916 x 7 (8, 9,
10, 11) balls
Yarn B: Navy 917 x 5 (6, 6,
7, 7) balls
Yarn C: Lawn 919 x 1 (1, 1,
1, 1) ball
Yarn D: Feather 828 x 2 (2,
2, 3, 3) balls
Yarn E: Bronze 912 x 1 (1, 1,
1, 1) ball
Yarn F: Champagne 898
x 1 (1, 1, 1, 1) ball
Yarn G: Sky blue 915 x 1 (1, 1,
1, 1) ball
Yarn H: Tattoo 856 x 1 (1, 1,
1, 1) ball
● 5mm hook
TENSION
Work 3 shells over 10 rows to
measure 10.5 x 10.5cm/4 x 4in
using 5mm hook, or size
required to obtain tension.
To make a swatch (which you
may choose to use as a
pocket) make 25ch, work the
pattern repeat for 12 rows (see
pocket instructions for colour
order) to measure 13 x 13cm
/5¼ x 5¼in before blocking,
using 5mm hook or size
required to obtain tension.
