Clear Waters
Perfect for the early Morning chill or evenings sitting around the campire;
this winged Triangle Garter knit shawl is a squishy and satisfying stashbuster.
Yarn
Whatever is lurking in your stash! Pair up left overs and odd balls of similar weights to bust the bits out of your overflowing yarn collection. If you want your colour blocks to be similar in size pick, balls of varying sizes and use them smallest to largest.
Needles & Notions
- Needles that are slightly larger than typically recommended for your weight of yarn. This will give better drape to the fabric.
- Tapestry needle
- Scissors to trim.
- optional a kitchen scale.
- optional a circular needle with a very long cord, or some waste yarn so you can lay your shawl flat to measure.
- For creating tassels you’ll also want a guide; use something sturdy to wrap yarn around to create the tassels.
Gauge
Gauge is not a big concern for this project since you will knit until it is the size you want.
Size
Knit until you’re happy, or until you almost run out of
yarn.
Instructions are included to measure how much you will need to cast off.
