After years of knitting socks this is still my favourite pattern.
The Classic New Leaf Socks are knit from the toe up, which
makes it easier to try on the socks for the right fit and allows
you to make the most out of your yarn.

This sock pattern is available for 6 adult foot sizes.
EU: Size 35/36, 37/38, 39/41, 42/43, 44/45, 46/47
US: 5/6, 6.5/7.5, 8/9.5, 10/11, 12/12.5, 13/14
UK: 2.5/3.5, 4/5, 6/7, 7.5/8, 9/10, 10.5/12

Yarn
For the Classic New Leaf Socks, I recommend using Scheepjes Metropolis and Scheepjes Downtown. The two yarns go together hand in hand and are wonderful for creating stripy socks.

Recommended yarn:
Yarn A:
Scheepjes Metropolis (50g/200m; 75% Merino extra fine, 25% Nylon)
1 ball
Yarn B:
Scheepjes Downtown (50g/200m; 75% Merino extra fine, 25% Nylon)
1 ball for sizes 1-2, 2 balls for sizes 3-6
Recommended needle size:
2.25mm (US1) double pointed needles or 80cm long circular needles
Other materials: scissors, darning needle, optional stitch marker
