The open, airy look of this wrap is achieved by two things: 1) using a larger size crochet hook than you might normally use with this weight yarn and 2) choosing a yarn that has no stretch. The chosen yarn works wonderfully to bring out the full laciness of this pattern. If you choose a yarn made of 100% wool or other fibers, you may not achieve the full effect of the lacy pattern.)
