The Classic Kindle Case came about because my husband finally succumbed to this bit of tecnology, not because he has fallen out of love with books, but because we have run out of shelf space!

He wondered whether I might design a case for him, and I was happy to oblige. I thought a lot about how to fasten it, and came up with this design which doesn’t involve any poppers or buttons, or anything magnetic, which might end up scratching the kindle.

It is knitted in one piece, apart from the tube for the elastic, which is knitting on 3mm double pointed needles.
