This granny triangle shawl pattern starts with the traditional granny half square triangle and finishes with a lovely shell border. Use a larger than typical hook size to create a soft drape.

Teen/Adult: 60” (152.5 cm) wingspan x 30” (76 cm) spine.
Materials
King Cole Jitterbug DK yarn (100% acrylic, 3.5 oz/100 g/306 yd/280 m) – 3 skeins in 5461 Tropicana, or approximately 885 yd (809 m) in any light weight, variegated acrylic yarn.
US Size J-10/6 mm crochet hook, or size needed to obtain gauge.
Stitch marker.
Yarn needle.
Gauge
16 sts (4 sets of 3 dc + ch-1 sp) in pattern = 4” (10 cm) across. Exact gauge is not critical for this project.
