This is a beautiful pattern for a beginner, using a combination of knit and purl stitches. One side of the cushion is knit in moss stitch and the other in garter stitch.

You will need:
2 x 200g balls of Lauren Aston Designs Super Chunky Merino. You will have enough left over to make pompoms or tassles if you would like to add these to your finished cushion.
40cm x 40cm cushion pad
10mm needles.
Tapestry needle

Gauge (To 10cm)
Moss stitch 8 stitches to 14.5 rows
Garter stitch 8.5 stitches to 16 rows
