A classic Christmas pastime is hanging a stocking for Santa to fill with googies. The body of this stocking is made up using a solid granny square / motif. Stockings that are classically elegant or boldly colorful and fun can be made easily with this one pattern. It’s time to create the next family tradition!

This pattern is worked flat, in rounds that are then joined. The stockings for this pattern used a sport weight cotton/acrylic blend yarn with a G 4 mm hook but any yarn weight with corresponding hook can be used - it will just change the finished size of 24” high by 6” wide.
