Clara is the ninth floral granny square in the Welcoming Blanket, a mystery crochet along for a throw blanket made up of nine 12” floral granny square patterns with borders. Clara has 4-petal flowers at the center which are inspired by the petals on the Basket of Posies Clutch.

Materials
Caron One Pound yarn (100% acrylic, 16 oz/454 g/812 yd/742 m) – 1 skein each in 02005 Sun Yellow (CA), 10517 Rose (CB), and 10620 Grass Green, or approximately 55 yd (50.5 m) in CA, 65 yd (59.5 m) in CB, and 55 yd (50.5 m) in CC in any medium weight yarn.

Clover Amour US Size J-10/6 mm crochet hook, or size needed to obtain gauge.

Yarn needle.

Gauge
Motif = 4” (10 cm) square after Round 6 in pattern. Exact gauge is not critical for this project.
