C+K is when Crochet meets Knitting in a project that combines the beauty and simplicity of both crafts. Knitted garter stitch blanket and bonnet are finished with crochet edgings to make a lovely baby set.

This set comes together very quickly, made in a worsted weight yarn. I have used 5 balls of Knit Picks Dishie for the sample, and highly recommend using this soft cotton yarn. It is very affordable, easy to care for, and is perfect for a baby gift.

Construction:
The blanket is knitted diagonally, from corner to corner.
Crochet border is worked in the round.
Bonnet is knitted flat, and seamed in the back.
Crochet border and edging is made in the round.
Cord ties are made using crochet cord technique.

This is a beginner-friendly pattern, that uses only basic knitting and crochet stitches.
