Cityside Cables
This pattern was previously published by KnitCrate and is now available on Etsy here.
I’m obsessed with cables; the bigger and squishier, the better. This sock is all about the cables! Featuring a squishy spiral cable running up the front, you can make this sock in a footie or long version. Crochet socks take a lot of yarn, especially when you bring out the cables, so you’ll need an additional skein to make them longer than footie socks. The design features a short row heel that gives extra room for your heel, making the sock more comfortable to wear. The cable looks much trickier than it actually is, and all you need to know are the basics of post stitches to make this eye-catching pair of socks.
