Knowledge of knitting a mitered square necessary since I don’t include it in the pattern. I used the basic square from Patricia Werners’ book Dazzling Knits. This shell has buttons along the sides. The two skeins total 1050 yards. The size can be increased or decreased by making larger or smaller squares and increasing or decreasing the cast on stitches. Lengthen or shorten to your personal choice.
