Cirque du Soie
by StevenBe
This vintage-inspired shrug is classic, clever, and funky. Using Steven’s fiber mixology and gradient knitting techniques, this garment has remarkable drape and texture.
Note: Yarn is held multi-stranded throughout the project and yardage is divided up as follows:
Yarn A: 2 skeins Madelinetosh Tosh Sock (100% superwash merino; 395 yd)
Yarn B: 2 skeins Shibui Silk Cloud (60% mohair, 40% silk; 330 yd; 25 g)
Yarns C & D: 5 skeins Alchemy Silken Straw, 2 skeins color C and 3 skeins color D (100% silk; 236 yd; 40 g)
