Circlet Beaded Bracelet
Need a quick gift with lots of sparkle? Circlet may just be the answer! This easy to knit bracelet is done in a flash, and really makes a statement. It may be made to any length, so an anklet is another option. Or, imagine it as the embellishment on a small package or gift card. If you can string beads on thread and knit I-cord, you’ve got it made!
Supplies
Thread or yarn which is not fuzzy: about 5 yards. Light fingering to fingering is suggested.
Beads: 66 to 88 are shown in the samples. The beads shown are glass E beads, sometimes called size 5/0 or 6/0. There are many possibilities, but be sure that your bead has a hole large enough to fit a needle or beading needle through.
Clasp: 1 toggle. All of the samples were made with toggle clasps, but you may try another clasp if you prefer.
Knitting needles: two double pointed. I like US size 1, which is 2.25 mm, but I am a loose knitter. US size 2 or 2.75 mm might be best for average tension.
Sewing needle: one that can fit through your beads. Alternatively, you may use a beading needle plus a sewing needle to weave in yarn ends.
Optional: Fray Check. You may like to use something just to be sure your yarn ends are secure.
