Circle of Friends
This infinity scarf represents the patterns of friendship: the slipped stitch border resembles a woven fabric and the lace pattern in the center crosses paths with itself and intertwines even when going separate ways. Since it uses just one skein of worsted weight yarn, it also provides an excellent opportunity to knit stylish accessories for your circle of friends.
The pattern is written for a larger (4 oz and 250 yards) skein of worsted weight yarn. If you have a standard (100g and 200-220 yards) skein, the pattern gives instructions to modify your work so you can get the most out of your yarn and still finish the scarf. You could also try knitting the edging in one color and the lace center in another.
The pattern contains written instructions as well as charts for the lace section in the center.
