Everything spirals forward. Everything that seems new has been incrementally build on something before it. Everything that one person imagines, figures out, invents, or discovers, has undoubtedly already been thought—or will eventually be thought—by someone else. And yet. And yet, what we each create is unique.

This pattern is inspired by the cycles of life, the ups and downs, hills and valleys, and repeating seasons that we experience over and over again.

The eyelets in this design are made by binding off 3 stitches and casting on 3 stitches over the gap created on the next row. There isn’t really any “lace” in this!
