Chutney the Cow and Pickles the Pig are best friends down on the farm. Knitted mostly in stockinette, these toys are worked in acrylic yarns so they are easier to keep clean after play. Designed by Amanda Berry @fluffandfuzz, the toys are knitted in acrylic DK yarns on single pointed needles (not in the round).

NEEDLES
A pair of 3.5mm single pointed knitting needles (US 4)

RECOMMENDED YARN
Stylecraft Special Double Knit; double knitting/light worsted weight; 100% acrylic; one 100g/295m skein in each shade.

Tapestry needle, toy filling, a stitch holder, and buttons to decorate

SIZES
One size only - Chutney Cow is 24cm tall and Pickles Pig 23cm tall (from tips of toes to top of head).

TECHNIQUES
For confident beginners and above, other techniques used include casting on and off, knits, purls, increases and decreases, and seaming to finish.
