Good chart reading & Fair-Isle stranding techniques recommended for the Star-Top version. This free download also includes instructions for an easier no-stranding solid color swirl-top version. Both include a 2-color Latvian braid accent, which is a 1-handed technique. I originally wrote this as a shop freebie for my LYS in a yarn called Valetta that is no longer available, but this pattern works for any chunky yarn that will give a gauge of 3-3.5 sts per inch.
