Chunky mittens
This is a free written crochet pattern on my blog (Zeens and Roger) or you can buy a PDF here in both US & UK terms. You can also find the video tutorial on my YouTube channel.
There are notes on my blog about making adjustments to these chunky crochet mittens too.
They are worked from the cuff up using simple post stitches. The main section of the mitten uses hdc UK htr) stitches. Regular increases are made to the thumb, at which point, we split for the thumb hole. Decreases are then made on the main hand to work to the finger tips.
You will need:
1 x 100g ball of chunky/bulky yarn.
5mm & 5.5mm crochet hooks
Darning needle.
One pair of mittens can be made with just one 100g ball of yarn.
