Chunky Layover Cowl
A free version is also available.
Easy and quick chunky crochet cowl with a twist- Layover Cowl is also a free pattern on my blog.
It is a beginner friendly crochet pattern accompanied by a video tutorial on how to work the twist in the middle.
I used Scheepjes Eliza yarn which created the softest drapiest cowl ever! I used 4 balls of yarn as the cowl is worked with 4 strands of DK yarn held together and 12 mm crochet hook so it will be finished in no time.
It is a great stashbusting project as you will need @ 200 m of 4 different balls of DK yarn so the colour possibilities are endless. You can use up your stash even further and use different weight yarns together to make up 32-ply weight (which is 4 x 8-ply).
