This chunky infinity scarf is made with chunky (5) weight yarn and a large crochet hook (Size P – 11.5mm). The large hook makes this a quick project and the shell stitch gives it a lacy look. The stitches used are chain, slip stitch, single crochet and double crochet. The yarn I like to use for this project is Red Heart Soft Essentials. The scarf can also be made with a double strand of worsted weight yarn such as Caron Simply Soft (shown in last 2 pics).

The finished scarf measures 54” around and 7 ½ ” wide. Directions are given to make the scarf longer or shorter.
