Chrysler Top
Chrysler Top is a simple and elegant ribbed top, inspired by the iconic Chrysler Building in New York City. The top is worked from the bottom up in an uncomplicated half-twisted rib pattern. The body is worked in the round to the underarms where it is then divided at the center front. Back stitches are placed on hold and each front is worked and shaped separately back and forth. The length of the wide I-cord shoulder straps and the body can easily be adjusted. The back is straight and is finished with an I-cord edging.
