Every year I try to think up a simple idea for table gifts for family and
friends coming to Christmas Dinner. Have to admit it’s getting more and
more difficult to dream up new ideas!! But this year I thought how lovely
it would be to send dinner guests home with an addition for their Christmas Trees.

I had fun designing these, trying to stick to the traditional Christmas characters.

These would also be a good thank you gift for a teacher,
hairdresser, in fact anyone who you consider needs a personal thank
you, or because they are a quick knit, they would do well for fundraisers and Christmas Fayre knits.

The characters measure approximately 3.5 inches/9cm, are knitted using leftover double knit yarn from my stash, so a good stash buster. There are six characters to choose from, or you could knit all 6; Snowman, Mouse, Mr Gnome and Mrs Gnome, Master Elf and Miss Elf.
