Christmas Morning Sweater is part of our 2025 Christmas collection. The sweater is a fun and playful Christmas sweater featuring little presents with i-cord bows around the bottom of the body. It is worked using 1 strand of Merino + 1 strand of Soft Silk Mohair held together throughout.

The sweater is worked in the round from the top down with a round yoke and you start with the neckband. Both the neck opening and body are shaped with German short rows for a better fit. The neckband, cuffs and hem are ribbed while the presents are charted only and worked using the Fair Isle technique and finished with i-cord ties as a separate step.

Yarn: 1 strand of Knitting for Olive Merino, 2 (2, 2, 3, 3, 4, 4) balls in MC, 1 ball in CC1 and 1 ball in CC2 + 1 strand of Knitting for Olive Soft Silk Mohair (225 m 246 yd / 25 g 0.9 oz), lace-weight yarn, 2 (2, 3, 3, 4, 4, 4) balls in MC, 1 ball in CC1 and 1 ball in CC2. Needles: 3.5 mm / US4 and 4 mm / US6 circular needles in 40 cm 16” and 60 cm 24” cable lengths, 3.5 mm / US4 and 4 mm / US6 double-pointed needles, or in size to obtain gauge
