Christmas House
Inspired by Victorian needlework boxes, there is lots to see on the outside of this knitted Christmas House. Lift the roof off and the walls collapse to reveal a decorated Christmas tree standing inside. The insides of the walls are filled with 24 little pockets so it can also be used as an Advent Calendar. The finished house stands 20 cm / 8” tall and is about 11.5 cm / 4½“ square.
This first pattern is for the basic structure of the house: the walls, base and roof. It also contains a complete materials list for the whole project. The remaining twelve patterns will be published every other day in December, starting on the 1st and finishing on the 23rd.
All my ravelry patterns are free to download but, if you enjoy them, please consider making a donation to the Children’s Liver Disease Foundation, a charity which funds research and supports the families of children with a liver disease. You can do this easily by going to my fundraising page www.justgiving.com/frankiesknittedstuff
