Christmas Cats in Cupcakes
With this pattern, you can make three kinds of Kokeshi-style cat and their cupcakes: Santa Claus, Reindeer and Snowman.
Kokeshi (こけし), are Japanese traditional craft and simple wooden dolls with no arms or legs. They have been crafted for more than 150 years as a toy for children.
My kokeshi doll is a little different from the traditional one and is in something. Christmas cats are sitting in their festive cupcakes. There is a hole in the center of the cupcake, where you can put in and out Kokeshi cats. Their hats and Antler-headband have holes for ears and are removable.
