Have a happy handmade Christmas with this set of baubles to hang on your Christmas tree. The knitting pattern includes five designs: Santa, Snowman, Robin, Rudolph and Pudding. Designed by Amanda Berry @fluffandfuzz, the baubles are knitted in acrylic DK yarns on single pointed needles (not in the round). Rudolph’s antlers are i-cord pieces worked on two DPNs, and the pudding pattern incorporates a Fair-Isle (stranded) colour pattern.

NEEDLES
A pair of 3.75mm straight single pointed knitting needles (US 5) and a pair of 3.5mm (US 4) DPNs.

RECOMMENDED YARN
Sirdar Hayfield Bonus DK; double knitting/light worsted weight; 100% acrylic; up to 30g in each colour.

NOTIONS
Tapestry needle and toy filling.

SIZES
One size only - baubles are 5.5cm diameter.

TECHNIQUES
For confident beginners and above, other techniques used include casting on and off, knits, purls, increases and decreases, and seaming to finish.
