Chord Scarf
Chord is a textured scarf featuring pleated sections that make it easy to style and drape in a variety of ways.
This design is my contribution to the 2025 issue of Knit the Cat, an annual knitting magazine published by Schoppel Wolle. Each issue is packed with striking, creative designs bursting with inspiration.
This time, my conceptual approach was a musical one: the pleated sections and zigzag lines evoke the shape of a concertina, while the dotted and striped sections are reminiscent of notes and staves.
The sample shown highlights a subtle and elegant look, but this design invites you to play with contrasts and colors — to strike your own individual tune.
