Like the name suggests, this raglan pullover is both delightfully airy and satisfyingly decadent. The very simple top-down instructions are ideal for sweater-knitting beginners and those looking for a “mindless” knit. Row-by-row instructions are provided through the neck shaping, omitting the dreadful “at the same time” instructions.

The upper body is shaped with increases aligned along four diagonal (raglan) lines. Below the armholes, the body is worked in rounds to the last few inches, which are worked back and forth in rows, providing a split hem for ease of movement.

The yarn, a luxurious blend of alpaca, Merino, silk, and yak, knits up quickly at just over four stitches to the inch.
