Chloe the Great Pyrenees
This is an intermediate pattern that uses stockinette stitch, short rows, I-cord and latch hook techniques. I usually make large animals that are approximatley15 x 10 inches when finished, but I have used sport weight yarn on size 2 needles and ended up with a much smaller animal about 8 x 5 inches finished.
I work the large pattern with a wool mohair blend yarn to allow for a softer fuzzy finish. This can be achieved with a single strand of white mohair, and white wool yarn that when worked together make the gauge noted.
