Chloe Caterpillar
Knit up a cute and colourful caterpillar. This toy is made by knitting spheres and sewing them together in a row, so you can easily make a longer caterpillar by adding more spheres. Designed by Amanda Berry @fluffandfuzz, the caterpillar is knitted in acrylic DK yarns on single pointed needles (not in the round).
NEEDLES
A pair of 3.5mm single pointed knitting needles (US 4).
RECOMMENDED YARN
Paintbox Yarns Simply DK; double knitting/light worsted weight; 100% acrylic; a few grammes in each colour.
NOTIONS
Tapestry needle, toy filling, and domed buttons for eyes.
SIZES
One size only - 45cm long.
TECHNIQUES
For beginners and above, other techniques used include seaming, kfb increase and k2tog decrease.
