Chispa Earrings
This pattern was in the May issue of HHM that came out on May 1, 2019.
Chispa means sparkle or gleam in Spanish. It also means lively. They take only a few minutes to crochet, so pick your favorite lively colors, and make Chispa Earrings to go with all your outfits!
Materials
• Up to 4 yards of any scrap yarn
• 1.5mm-3mm hook, depending on thread / yarn
• Needle for weaving in ends
• 2 fish hook ear-wires
• Flat-nosed jewelry pliers
Pattern Notes
• All directions are written in American Crochet Terms.
• Gauge is not essential for this project, but tight stitches will result in an earring that holds its shape better.
• This pattern can be worked in any size crochet yarn and appropriate hook. Experiment with different size yarn and hooks to achieve smaller or larger earrings.
