Needles
Size US 4/3.5 mm: 24”/60 cm circular and set of double- pointed needles.
Size US 3/3.25 mm: 24”/60 cm and 16”/40 cm circular and set of double-pointed needles.
Optional: spare circular US 3/3.25 mm needle 24”/60 cm long for Tubular Bind Off.
Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.

Gauge
24 stitches and 32 rows = 4”/10 cm in Stockinette stitch or lace pattern on larger needle.

Notes
• This pullover is worked in one piece from the top down. First, the two saddle shoulders are worked from the provisional cast on at the neck opening to the armholes, then the stitches are placed on holders. Stitches for the back are picked up along the saddle shoulders edges and the back is worked to the underarms. The fronts are worked in the same manner, with neckline shaping. Then right and left fronts are joined and worked to the underarms. At the underarms, the front and back are joined and the lower body is worked in the round to the hem.
• Stitches for the sleeves are worked from held saddle stitches and picked up around the armhole and the sleeves are worked from the top down in the round with short-rows to shape the sleeve cap.
