Chill Breaker Cowl
Chill Breaker is a bandana style cowl that is knit flat from the bottom up in garter stitch with stair step increases before being joined in the round and worked in a subtle rib for the cowl. It tucks nicely into a neckline of a coat to keep out those chilly drafts. The cowl is reversible with a ribbed look on one side of the cowl neck and a stockinette look on the other side. You’ll need about 140 yards of worsted weight yarn and size 8 (5 mm) 16” long circular knitting needles. Finished size is about 23” around x 11” long. Very easy to make it larger or smaller. The cowl can be pressed into service as a scarf hat if needed. The pattern also includes bonus instructions for making a matching headband with 50 yards of yarn. The three page pattern has written instructions only.
