Balls of yarn grow into sheep, right?

This pattern has three sizes (covering 12 months to 3 years) and is knit in a light, fingering yarn, making it an ideal in-between layer. It can either be knit with one main color and 6 contrast colors, or simply one main color and one contrast color. You’ll need less than 200 grams in any size, and it’s a good project for using up those scraps of yarns you have laying around.

The cardigan is knit from the bottom up, ending in a yoke where the wild sheep roam. It is knit in the round, with a steek that is cut open.

Samples were worked in Pickles Pure Wool, Jamieson’s Shetland Spindrift, and Holst Supersoft.
