Cheep cheep! This little yellow chick makes a super Easter decoration or gift and is a quick knit. It is also a super project for using up yarn balls to avoid waste. Designed by Amanda Berry @fluffandfuzz, the chick is knitted in acrylic DK yarns on single pointed needles (not in the round).

NEEDLES
A pair of 3.75mm single pointed knitting needles (US 5)

RECOMMENDED YARN
Sirdar Hayfield Bonus DK; double knitting/light worsted weight; 100% acrylic; less than 25g in each colour

NOTIONS
Tapestry needle, toy filling, and beads for eyes.

SIZES
One size only - Chick is 8cm tall.

TECHNIQUES
For confident beginners and above, other techniques used include casting on and off, knits, purls, increases and decreases, and seaming to finish.
