Chibi doll Usagi is an easter inspired Chibi Amilishly Doll with removable rabbit ears. Usagi is a Japanese name meaning rabbit, so it was fitting she would recieve this name. Usagi measures about 12 cm’s when I crochet her with a 2.0mm hook, excluding the ears in the measurements. When you go up a hooksize, she might be bigger, but proportions remain intact. This means gauge isn’t important.

This pattern is currently available in DUTCH, GERMAN and US ENGLISH. The pattern can be downloaded without a charge, but I don’t regard this pattern as free, rather as my gift to you to have something nice to enjoy while fighting Corona together.

Chibi doll Usagi is a crocheted doll attached clothing and a removable headband. This pattern includes the doll with her dress, and headband. She is made seamless, so no seaming parts afterwards.

Yarn:

  • Yarn and Colors Must-Have in different colors for the doll and clothes: Colors are Pearl, Cream, Old Pink, Larimar, Vanilla and Green Ice.

Hook:
This doll is crocheted with a 2.0mm hook and the suggested yarn above. It’s important to crochet tight enough, since you don’t want the fibrefill to show. Also don’t crochet to tightly it’ll be a strain on your wrists. If you crochet loosely, please go down a size. If you crochet tightly go up a size. The proportions of this girl stay intact.

Gauge
In single crochet: 17 sc x 17 rows measures 5x5 cm, using Must Have and a 2.0mm hook.
Gauge, however is not important for this pattern. Different hooks and different yarn give you a different size for your doll, but the proportions stay intact.

Notions
Needle for weaving ends, scissors, fibrefill, stitchmarker. Also needed: glue and pins for her hair.
