This boxy drop-shoulder design is the perfect combination of color & technique to keep you excitedly knitting “just one more row” from top to bottom. Enjoy a colorblocked background–gradient-inspired as shown, or whatever colors call to you–paired with angular stranded colorwork throughout or work it with a single background color. This pullover is worked from the top down, in the round, with steeked armholes. Because the steeking takes place over just two short sections, it is an excellent first steeking project; don’t fear the steek! Pattern features options for a Cropped or Longer length, 3 different hem styles & yardages for a 4-color (shown) or 2-color sweater. It also includes an abundance of links to relevant tutorials along with incredibly thorough notes to help you set up your project, understand the construction & achieve the fit you want even if your ease differs from the recommendations. A corresponding Video Series (sold separately) is also available to walk you through every single step of working this sweater, from sizing & yarn choice all the way through demonstrations of each and every technique that is used. You’ll also have access to worksheets that can help you modify the design in many ways. This pattern is written for intermediate to experienced knitters, but with the video series, all a knitter needs to know is how to knit and purl. How fabulous would it be if Chevv was your first sweater ever?

CHEVV VIDEO SERIES
If any of these techniques are not in your skillset, just sign up for the Chevv Video Series to learn them all and so much more! This incredibly expansive online workshop includes not only technical instruction, but also worksheets to help with modification including working the sweater successfully with less ease. From basics such as increasing & decreasing to steeking & pick up stitches, it’s alllll there. This is Kate’s most thorough workshop to date and although it is related to this design, so much of the skills you learn will help you with innumerable others as well. Online workshops are fabulous as you can watch them at your own pace, rewatch or skip sections as needed, and your access if forever.
