Chevron Tastic
This classy, chevron-styled skirt is made from the top down in two possible lengths, 47cm and 58cm. It starts with a series of separate triangle motifs that are joined together into a row and worked flat towards the bottom hem. The skirt is seamed at the back and the triangle gaps around the hem are filled in separately. A zipper is added to the centre back seam, and a waistband fastened with buttons is worked onto the top.
Cascade Fixation is a stretchy yarn with elastane woven in, so the finished fabric is stretchy. The finished hip measurement of the skirt will be less than your actual body measurement, as it is worked with negative ease. When working with this yarn, try to maintain an even tension without stretching it as you work.
